“On The Lake”

International Choir Festival

Vered Hasharon Travel and Tours, with the support of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism and the municipality of Tiberias, is pleased to share with you that the International Choir Festival “On The Lake”, will take place on the shores of the Sea of Galilee on May 8, 9, 10 – 2018. We cordially invite you to share this exciting celebration in which choirs from around the world will be participating.
The event will take place in Berko Archaeological Park, located on the southern entrance of Tiberias. It is part of the newly constructed archaeological park of Tiberias, in which one may see the Southern gate and walls of the Roman city.
In addition to this three-night program of devotion, singing and praising the Lord, Vered HaSharon  Travel and Tours will gladly create an exclusive package tailored for each choir that will include the three evenings, combined with suggestions for a pre/post tour of the Holy Land.

Here is a personal invitation from Musical Coordinator of the festival and conductor of the combined choir concert on the 18th, Israeli conductor and composer David Loden.

Shalom! I am the musical director of the “Liturgi-Kal” Concert Choir in Israel. On behalf of Vered Hasharom Travel and Tours and the “Liturgi-Kal” Concert Choir, I have the honor to invite you and your choir to participate in an International Choir Festival entitled “Come, Sing for Zion!”
This event will be held in a beautiful new outdoor amphitheatre in Tiberias, overlooking the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus often taught his disciples… and in the distance… the magnificent Golan Heights! It is a stunning view, and a fitting venue for singing praises to our God in His Land!

The Festival will be held on three evenings of  May 8, 9, 10 – 2018, 2018. A limited number of choirs are invited, and each choir will be given 30 minutes on one of the evenings to present a program of their choosing. We will close the last evening with the combined choirs singing together “Gloria” by John Rutter and “Psalm 42” by Mendelssohn – with full orchestra. This Festival is not competitive, but celebratory!
“Come… Sing for Zion” together with us!
David Loden

We would be delighted to have you join us for this event with your groups and/or participation of any choir that you feel would suit this choir festival.
